What can be done to manage the environment to meet the needs of development?

In my view of point, human activities base one using resources such as burning coat to produce electricity and heat so on. However, our resources is limited. Therefore, the most effective way of protecting our environment is using the new resources which are clear and unlimited.

In video, i am interested in the new resources which is discovered by a man from China. It's sound seems to be new but in fact that it is quited close to our daily life. It is our human wast, shit. Surprisingly, our human wast becomes our new resources which can last our world for 100 years more. These human wast are dogged deeply into the surface in order to provide the mixture gas which can use in various human activities.

although it may have not become popular now, i believe that there will be more things using this new resources in the future. In this way, the Earth can be last longer.

1. what lesson can be learn from the disaster?

There is a big number of injured people after disaster attacks. Because people are not aware of Tsunami, they do not have enough knowledge to protect themselves from it. Educating people is very importance. people must know how to protect themselves first. it is better than waiting for other's help.

In addition, location also much have warming system. The location much have more than one way to exit. The road have to be prepare carefully in any cases of using it. Moreover, the transport system also play an important role in securing people. government have to make sure that there are enough vehicle to transport all people out of the dangerous location.

A volunteer group should be set up. through the disaster, we can identify group of people who are willing and able to help. by doing this, the number of the injured or died people will be reduce effectively.

Tsunami

1. What are the problem faced in responding to the disaster?

Tsunami has caused a big number of death bodies and missing people. it dues to people do not have enough knowledge of Tsunami disaster. Before this disaster occurs, there are always some signs which people can easily realise there are something bad is going to happen. for example, animals (birds) run in chaos and fright. the seawater draws backward to the sea, people can see clearly the sea base. That are some signs which people can apply for predicting the Tsunami. Because of low education of disaster and slow respond, there are so many people are missing and died.

Thai government do not have any disaster preparation plan, although they know that Tsunami may occur in this location at any time. There are lack of volunteer. when the thing happen, injured people are not helped. In addition, there is only one way to get in and out of this location, therefor, the chance of escape this disaster is very narrow. Not only Thai government but America government also become helpless with this disaster. American boy injured his leg, but he is not allowed to leave Thai at the appropriate time for his leg secure. Those who lost their children, the government also ignore.

Sadly, almost missing people cant not be found. Because their death bodies are burn because of the Buddhism religion. a part of religion, this action also the government's decision in solving dead bodies and environment pollution. Moreover, the phone line as lo broke down hence information is stuck within this location.

After this disaster, foreigner have changed their view of the country because of lack responsibility from government. it will affect badly to tourism industry which
is playing important role in Thai Land's economics. It is a main reason for that the reporter is not allowed to take any photo of this location.

Review of the Cove and Sente Park (Whale war)

1. How did the show justify that whaling and dolphin slaughtering are wrong ?

Firstly, Dolphin is such a friendly and beautiful animal. they are quite helpful in showing to the way back home when the we get lost in ocean. Therefore, there is completely wrong to kill dolphin. Similarly, we kill our pets, slaughtering dolphin can be seen a disgustingly inhuman action.

Secondly, Dolphin is an intelligent animal. Human kill the pig for food because they are not smart, they can not feel anything except pain. there is a different story about the dolphin, they can feel hurt when we kill them because they though we are their friend. In addition, there is quiet wasted when the number of intelligent animal decrease due to this foolish actions. These animal can help human do a lot of thing.

Thirdly, Dolphin is innocent and did not deserve such treatment. they did nothing harm to human and environment. So what is the reason for killing them.

Next, as we know that selling a live dolphin can earn up to more $1000 each. People can earn a lot of profit by doing this business. Thus, killing them is also wrong. Japan is a developed country, i believe that their people are not that stupid of refusing a way to earn money. there should be some reasons behind this

Moreover, killing Dolphin for food is not a good reason to explain Japaneses' actions. As we know that dolphin meat is contain a big amount mercury which is very harmful for people if they eat. I believe that Japanese do not take dolphin meat in their food consumption. Hence, one again killing dolphin is wrong.

In order to keep a good relationship with foreign countries, killing dolphin action is a big challenge for Japan to do so. This action will make whole of the world have a bad feeling forward Japan, so Japan will be isolated by whole of the world. Therefore, killing dolphin is wrong.

Normally, any wrong actions are hidden carefully from the public. there are many Japanese do not know about killing dolphin occurring in their country. It shows that killing action is wrong.



What are the reasons (as raised in the film) behind the Japaneses' whaling and dolphin slaughtering?

There are two reasons which are mentioned in the film.

First reason is that the Japanese blame on dolphin have taken so much fish in the ocean, it may affect the cycle of food chains. i think this reason is a stupid one because there are many other also take fish in their food consumption. if people want to increase number of fish , they should kill equally any kind of animal who eat fish, not only dolphin and whaling. In addition, killing whaling and dolphin at this rate will lead to extinct of them. So the purpose of balancing ecologic is not there anymore. I believe that this reason is a fake one, Japan do not have any good explanation for this action

Second reason is Japan culture. i know this hard for us to accept this reason but some how we have to believe it because being a culture, we can not do anything, we have to respect their own culture or history as well. However, honestly i do not think this action is their culture. If this action is a part of their culture, there should be a festival, or some party to celebrate this even. Everyone have to gather and cheer this history even. However, there is nothing taken place. No festival, no one come to celebrate, only some fisherman come and kill all the dolphin and whaling. I am wondering what the real reason for they to do so.
